As we enjoy these remaining summer days and weather-perfect weekends, here at the church we are putting the final touches on some exciting plans for the new "program year." Please note the various opportunities further on in this newsletter.
One of the greatest blessings of our church is the tremendous comradery that develops as we all enter into the "ministry of all believers" (Martin Luther). If you’re new to us or wishing you could become more involved, please listen for your call this year! We’ve got teaching opportunities, singing opportunities, worship opportunities, outreach opportunities, committee opportunities - so many opportunities is what makes our "CONGREGATION-ALL" church such a blessing to so many of us. So, on September 12 - come on in and help us shine the Light!

There will be a memorial service in honor of 9/11- the observance will be held on Saturday, September 11th on the town common beginning at 9:00am.

Mark your calendar! Rally Sunday is September 12th. Worship service will be held at 10:00am. Church school registration forms have been mailed.

PARENTS OF TEENS PLANNING MEETING- Calling all parents of youth (6th-9th grade). Please join us for an interactive meeting to discuss ideas for our youth program. The evening will be hosted at the home of Lisa & Jeff Pratt (51 Highland Ave-driveway to the left of the church). The meeting begins at 7:30pm and dessert will be served!

Sunday, September 19th- Come and enjoy the All Church BBQ! Food and fun will begin after the worship service at 11:15am. More details to follow soon.
